Stratford scorer last time (2m½f, soft), when he had plenty in hand. Carries a penalty for that, but step up in trip on stiffer track looks likely to suit. Player again.
0-16. Has finished in the frame on her last two (2m4f/2m3f), but well held on both of those. Could repeat that, but more needed for a maiden win.
Once decent chaser who stays 3m2f on soft ground. Without a win for almost three years. Not without a chance from this lowly mark, although his record when fresh is patchy.
Dundalk maiden winner (1m4f, AW) for Jim Bolger, but hasn't yet shown much for this trainer in either code. Could give him a chance from this initial mark on his Sedgefield run from August, so not ruled out.
2m1f course winner (good to soft) in his penultimate start, but well beaten from this 7lb higher mark at Worcester last time. Can't rule him out back here, but does now have a bit to prove.
Well held in all starts for Nigel Hawke. Changed hands since the last of those in February. Can only watch on debut for this stable.
Multiple winner across both codes, with both his hurdles wins being here (2m1f) on a sound surface. 9lb lower than the more recent of those, which came in a similar contest a year ago. Interesting.
C&D scorer (good) as a novice, when she also won twice at up to 2m5½f at Newton Abbot. Has slipped back to a dangerous mark again, and ran respectably here last time. Not ruled out.
Won a Worcester novices' chase (2m½f, good) in June, when on today's mark. Out of sorts since then, so returns to hurdles with plenty to prove.
Off the mark at the 30th attempt last time out in a similar contest here (2m1f, good). Up 7lb for that ready success. Has to be considered now, but not easy to be confident he can follow-up, given his record.
Flat winner (1m4f, good to firm) who is 0-16 over hurdles. Went close at Newton Abbot in June (2m5½f, good) when 3lb lower, but well held there last time, and not easy to fancy .
Won a Stratford novices' handicap hurdle (2m6f, good) in 2017, but 9lb 'wrong' here and impossible to recommend her on recent evidence.
