Disappointing filly but she did show signs of taking to this surface when beaten just three lengths when sixth in a C&D handicap last time. A reproduction of that run would give her every chance in this lowly affair.

Irish raider whose only real form came when second for Tony Mullins in a Dundalk 1m2f claimer. Shown little in four starts since for current yard and more needed to get involved here.

Only win came on debut over 6f back in 2017 for Michael Dods. No joy in 17 runs since but was second in extended mile handicap at Hamilton this summer. Not proven at this trip but ran OK when fifth last time out.

Only win in 26 starts came over C&D in March when rated 5lb lower than today. Should strip fitter for recent pipe opener here and may well be thereabouts for shrewd yard.

Stays 1m4f and won over this trip in April last year for Alan Bailey. Having fourth start for current yard and has hinted she may find a race in due course. Interesting to see if there is any market support.

First ever runner in this country for Irish handler. Kept on well when fifth of 23 last time at Navan having been fourth at the Curragh the time before. Looks a likely sort at this level and is one for the shortlist.

Irish dual-purpose maiden who stays up to 2m on the Flat and has only just managed to get into this race having previously been rated higher. Interesting contender but is hard to win with.

Has gone close on a number of occasions but still yet to find the winners enclosure after 17 attempts. Fifth in Leicester seller last time (not beaten far) and same jockey booked again here.

Only piece of form to date came on penultimate start when not beaten far in fifth in a modest Lingfield 1m2f h'cap. Ran a shocker at Windsor last time though. Much more needed.

Very one paced Rip Van Winkle gelding but ran OK last time when beaten two lengths into third in Leicester heavy ground 1m2f seller. Tackles this surface for the first time and has to come into the reckoning if he takes to it.

Regressive gelding but not beaten far when fifth in Bath 1m2f handicap last time, although that was on very fast ground. This is a completely different challenge. Top jockey booking catches the eye.

Quite well bred Nayef filly who has shown very little in her three starts to date. This is much lower grade though so if there is a market move in her favour it could be worth noting.

Second in C&D handicap last week showing he handles the surface and stays. Yet to score in 10 starts but a repeat of latest effort gives him every chance at this level.

Risk Mitigation (5/2), Lady Of York (13/2), Bonneville (7/1), Call Me Madam (8/1), Ringo Kid (8/1), Loudest Whisper (8/1), Archie's Sister (12/1), Keith (14/1), Going Native (16/1), Milldean Felix (20/1), Fanny Chenal (20/1), Cape Agulhas (22/1), French Flyer (50/1), Misread (50/1)

Verdict

This is a very low grade affair and there could easily be a turn up. GOING NATIVE is a previous C&D winner and should be straighter now for a recent outing followng a break. She represents very shrewd connections. Risk Mitigation ran well here last week and a similar effort could provide at least a place, and the likes of Bonneville, Archie's Sister and Irish raider Loudest Whisper are all respected.
