Henrythenavigator colt who attracted little support on debut and ran green before being ultimately well beaten at Ayr earlier this month. Open to improvement for top yard so well worth a market check.
Top yard infrequent visitor to this track with its juveniles. Improved from first to second run when fourth at Epsom last time and should be thereabouts if handling this surface and the step up to a mile.
Has run with credit on a number of occasion without getting his head in front. Good second at Chelmsford last time but untested on this surface and may again find one or two too good for him.
£2000 Mayson colt who has shown little form in both starts to date, finishing last on each occasion. Very hard to enthuse over in this company.
Outstrip colt who looked all at sea when very green on debut at Carlisle where he was well beaten. Entitled to improve for that experience and pedigree suggests he'll stay, but others have stronger claims.
Archipenko filly who is half-sister to classy Grade 1 winner Euro Charline. Ran well when third of 16 on debut at Brighton over 7f and on that evidence has to be a strong contender for honours if taking to this surface.
Stayed on here last time over 7f when second to 10lb higher rated rival. Gave impression she should stay extra furlong and ability to cope here already proven.
Al Kazeem half-sister to three fair winners. Solid first run when kept on to be second at Newcastle over 7f last month. Ran free early that day so needs to settle better to get home but is very much respected and open to improvement.
Forecasts
Finery (1/1), Creativity (7/2), London Calling (4/1), Capla Cubiste (12/1), Batalha (14/1), Compensate (33/1), Purple Sandpiper (33/1), Titanium Grey (33/1)
This mile is going to take some getting for these juveniles but CAPLA CUBISTE gave the impression she'll stay when shaping very well in third on debut at Brighton. She gets the nod just ahead of Finery, who gave every indication she'd be winning races when runner-up on debut at Newcastle last month. Compensate is another worth taking into consideration, while Creativity and the yardstick London Calling are others worth at least a second glance.
- Capla Cubiste
- Finery
- Compensate
