Has struggled on the Flat this year. Switched to hurdles at Uttoxeter (2m) earlier this month where he came home a long way off when he was 10th of 12 runners. Very difficult to make a case for.
Point-to-point winner at Bitterley (2m) on his last start. Has switched yards since then and is set for his opening run under Rules now. Look out for any strong market support before the race.
Won three times on the Flat, with his latest success coming at Carlisle (1m3f) back in August. He is a half-brother to useful hurdler Perspicace Fairly. Has strong claims on his hurdles debut here.
Finished third on his sole start in a point-to-point at Sheriff Hutton. Is set for his first run for his new yard here. Best to watch on his opening appearance under Rules.
Was a winner twice on the Flat but his form this year has been mostly disappointing. He was last of five runners on his latest appearance at Redcar (1m2f). Will need to prove him stamina over this trip.
Is still a maiden after four starts. He was much better on his second hurdles appearance last time as he came home third of 10 at Kelso (2m). Remains open to improvement. One to think about.
Was modest on the Flat where he failed to score in 11 attempts. He returned to action after two years off the track to come home last of eight runners at Redcar (1m2f) earlier this month. Best to watch.
Campaigned at trips up to 1m7f on the Flat where he was a maiden following 14 runs. He was sixth of eight last time at Hamilton (1m½f). Market likely to speak volumes about his chances on hurdles debut.
Had two attempts in bumpers early in his career where he struggled, finishing a long way off the winner. His form on the Flat has been disappointing too. This will be his first run for his new yard. Others appeal more.
Won a bumper on his second career start at Musselburgh (1m7½f), scoring by 4L. Was unable to follow that up at Kelso (2m) as he was seventh of 10 runners. One to consider at this level on hurdles debut.
Has struggled on both of her two attempts over hurdles. She came home at the rear of four runners at Market Rasen (2m4½f) last time back in May. This is her first run since having a wind-op. Best to watch for now.
Yet to score in five attempts over hurdles but she has shown some promise, including her latest effort at Wetherby (2m) where she was third of eight. One for the shortlist on the evidence of her last start.
