Son of Oscar whose price rose from €16,000 as a foal to €68,000 as a yearling. Related to four winners, but is likely to come into his own once he has obstacles to jump.
Shirocco gelding who was tailed off in a bumper on debut at Worcester (2m; good to soft) just nine days ago. Yard/jockey combo out of form at present and he remains best watched until offering more encouragement.
Son of Network who was third in his only point-to-point run. Cost £42,000 at the Doncaster sales in May. Half-brother to a pair of AQPS winners in France from trips ranging from 1m2f-1m4f so shouldn't have any problems with this trip on rules debut.
Son of Multiplex. Makes debut in warm contest, and is related to the talented Eamon An Cnoic. Should have a bright future, but looks vulnerable in this.
Did very little wrong on debut when runner-up at Warwick (2m; good) in a bumper. The winner of that race is potentially above-average. Interesting to see how much he has improved since then. On the shortlist.
Made debut in a Plumpton (2m2f; good to soft) bumper last March and showed a good level of promise despite bumping into an impressive winner. Represents owner who loves having winners here, and he is a big player.
Newcomer by Milan. Respected for connections on debut. Stable yet to get going so far this season (have had 20 runners/116 days since their last winner) which slightly tempers enthusiasm.
Gelded son of Oscar. Cost £30,000 after winning his point-to-point impressively at Ballyraget in March. Makes rules debut. Market check advised.
Filly by Kapgarde. Cost £12,000 as a three-year-old. Half-sister to a bumper winner in Glanvilles Guest. Stable out of form at the moment though.
Mare by Dr Massini. Trainer doesn't have many first time out winners and this is a decent looking bumper to start career off in. Best watched.

Induno (11/8), Oscar Asche (7/2), Filou Des Issards (5/1), One Fine Man (5/1), Mario De Pail (7/1), Craic Magic (8/1), Mille Sussurri (9/1), Frascato Bello (10/1), Gilwen Grayson (28/1), Saddlers Quest (33/1), Kapitall (33/1), Croftlands Blaze (50/1)
A few nice looking types on paper in this bumper, such as Mille Sussurri of whom confidence would be significantly higher in if his stable hadn't started the season in such quiet form. It could ne notable that the only runner on this card for Dai Walters is Mario De Pail who loves having winners at his local track. Induno may have bumped into one on debut when second to a nice horse of Olly Murphy's, and he can only have improved since then. However, the selection is the newcomer ONE FINE MAN who represents a yard in-form. He didn't come cheap as a three-year-old and can enhance his trainers eyecatching 20% strike-rate at this track.
- One Fine Man
- Induno
- Mario De Pail
