Constitutional23
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-7| J: Harrison Shaw(3)| T: K R Burke| OR:  64| D
Won a Newcastle handicap (7f, AW) last month from a mark of 60. Matched that effort last time when 6lb higher. Switches to this company for the first time needing improvement to win again, given how the race is framed.

Dragon Commandp10
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-7| J: B A Curtis| T: George Scott| OR:  77| D
Scored at Hamilton (6f, good) in July, in novices company. Went close in a York handicap next time, from a mark of 78. Won again last time in a Chelmsford claimer (7f, AW) and will be a major player here if handling heavy ground.

Isobar Windb18
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-13| J: C Lee| T: P D Evans| OR:  67| D
Dual seller winner at Ripon (6f, good) and Wolverhampton (7f, AW) this season. Justified favouritism in that latest race, to win with a bit in hand. Has a little to find at these weights, but not a vast amount, and a player if handling heavy.

Bob's Oss20
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: Cam Hardie| T: A Berry| OR:  57
Was second in a soft ground Catterick handicap (6f) in August, but well held in all three starts since then and others are preferred.

Trevie Fountain13
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: Sean Davis(3)| T: R A Fahey| OR:  65
Went close in a heavy ground Ayr novice event (6f) in August, but held in three handicaps since then. Tries 7f for just a second time and arguably unexposed at the moment, so can't write him off at these weights.

Littleton Hallv118
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-10| J: S De Sousa| T: M R Channon| OR:  69
Went close on his second start in a Kempton novice event (5f, AW) in April, but well below that level in three subsequent starts. Dam won over 7f, so may be able to kick on again for the step up and addition of a visor, now tried in a claimer.
Well held on both starts in a novice and then a seller. Can only watch.

Lili Wen Fachv31
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-4| J: A Mullen| T: P D Evans| OR:  64
Chepsotw novice winner (5f, good to soft) in June, and went close next time at York (6f, soft) in a seller. Off the boil then until her best nursery effort when third back at Chepstow last time. Looks to have claims now switched to this sphere.

Forecasts

Dragon Command (13/8), Isobar Wind (9/2), Littleton Hall (6/1), Constitutional (13/2), Lili Wen Fach (13/2), Trevie Fountain (10/1), Bob's Oss (16/1), Pronghorn (20/1)

Verdict

David Evans runs two here in Isobar Wind, who has the form to get involved if handling heavy ground, and Lili Wen Fach, who is proven on soft and may have the edge of that pair. However, LITTLETON HALL may be capable of showing more now stepped up to 7f, with headgear on and De Sousa in the plate, and he gets the vote. Dragon Command is another potential threat.
  1. Littleton Hall
  2. Lili Wen Fach
  3. Isobar Wind
