7-32 and has won on soft, but never over 6f and not since September 2018. On a competitive mark, but has a bit to prove over this far.

Arrives seeking a hat-trick after successive wins over this trip on heavy at Yarmouth and Leicester. Had a penalty to shoulder for the latter, but looks a big player once again.
Multiple 6f winner who has gone close over this trip. Without a win since the spring of last year, and has slipped to a very handy mark. Has to turn that to his advantage.

Triple winner over 5f/6f, but not since August 2018. Handicap mark has tumbled since then, but well held over this trip on soft last time. Plenty to prove.
Nottingham win (5f, good to soft) last year remains his sole success. Now 2lb lower, after four successive defeats, punctuated by wind surgery. Interesting if backed, but otherwise still plenty to prove.

4-18, all four wins including 'good' in the going description. Back on the same mark as the last of those successes at Ripon in August. Tries this trip for the first time since his debut, is bred for it. Interesting if handling heavy.

Course winner over 6f, and has also won three more times at 7f/1m, including on soft. 6lb higher than most recent success at Leicester last month, but ran well from just 1lb lower at Ayr last time. Contender.
Showed promise on debut (7f, good), but well held on both starts since. Initial mark reasonable based on his first run, so don't be surprised if he is able to make an impact.

Opened her season with a win in a Nottingham novice event (6f, soft). Yet to win a handicap, but should be competitive from this mark, although does have a bit to prove over this trip.

3-35 and a C&D winner (good to soft) in 2017. Now 9lb lower than her only win since then and hard to fancy from today's mark based on recent efforts.

0-41 and impossible to fancy from 10lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Stallone (13/8), The Stalking Moon (7/2), Yes You (8/1), Gullane One (10/1), Lady Monica (10/1), Hitman (12/1), Black Isle Boy (14/1), Eloquent Style (20/1), Lord Rob (20/1), Arcavallo (20/1), Rolladice (25/1)

Verdict

The Stalking Moon looks a major player here based on recent efforts, but another to have won at Leicester recently is STALLONE, who arrives seeking a hat-trick and is taken to complete it under a penalty. Gullane One could get involved if handling heavy ground, while Eloquent Style is not written off on his handicap debut.
  1. Stallone
  2. The Stalking Moon
  3. Gullane One
