The Kayf Tara gelding subsequently suffered a couple of defeats but can bounce back here on seasonal debut with the booking of champion jockey Richard Johnson in the plate a major positive. C&D winners Yorkist and Theflyingportrait who landed this contest 12 months ago can provide the biggest resistance to the selection. The Phillip Hobbs-trained Ecu De La Noverie appears capable of hitting the frame while a return to form for Top Gamble would not surprise.
