Dual-purpose filly who has won twice over hurdles in a progressive summer jumping campaign. Recent efforts suggest more improvement could be on the cards and merits plenty of respect.
Winner of two of his six starts on the AW at Newcastle, the Morpheus gelding remains a seven-race maiden on turf. Yards first-time hurdlers usually come on for debut run.
Eight-race maiden on the Flat, well held in a number of starts since April. Appears to be an uphill task on hurdling debut with concerns the yard are one win from 28 starters at this venue throughout October in the last four years.
Well beaten in novice/maiden company on the Flat and showed no improvement for the switch to handicap level when in the care of trainer Charles Hills. Market likely to reveal expectations on hurdling and stable debut.
Nine-race maiden on the Flat including failing to hit the frame in seven starts on turf. Likely to find it tough going on hurdling introduction but any market move as post time approaches could be informative.
Well held and never a threat on the Morpheus geldings first couple of starts over timber. In good hands and no surprise to see an improved effort in this company.
Well held and no impression in three desperate efforts on the Flat when last seen 12 months ago. No forlorn hope, closely related to solid 122-rated novice hurdler Lord Rocco and Dam, winner over timber at 2m½f. Could be of interest in future.
Regressive 50-rated handicapper on the Flat. Closely related to poor 13-race maiden over the jumps, Song Of The Sky. Best watched on hurdling debut unless the market suggests otherwise.

Forecasts
Maria Magdalena (8/15), Highway To Success (11/2), Blazing Dreams (6/1), Cool Possibility (8/1), Uncle Norman (9/1), Hypnos (12/1), Burnage Boy (16/1), My Strong Man (20/1), Geyser (50/1)
MARIA MAGDALENA is currently in fine form, winning on the Flat at Lingfield last month and landing a couple of hurdling contests at Market Rasen and Worcester in August. The Alex Hales-trained filly can land the spoils at the expense of Blazing Dreams who can emerge as the biggest danger on hurdling debut representing the Ben Haslam yard. Highway To Success and the Olly Murphy-trained Hypnos can battle for the minor honours.
