Off the mark at the sixth attempt in a heavy ground Carlisle nursery, and again proved she's well suited by the mud when making all at Hamilton in novice company last time. Will give her running, for all she's vulnerable at the weights.
Disappointing last time, but claims on his soft-ground maiden win at Yarmouth, and ran to a similar level when second in a Beverley nursery two starts back.
Largely progressive, and got off the mark impressively in a 5½f nursery at York last time, winning by 4L. Well treated under a penalty on that evidence, and the one they all have to beat.
Runner-up in a Chester nursery in August, but his progress has levelled out and he has a bit to find for all the return to softer ground will probably be of benefit to him.
Shed her maiden tag over 6f here before landing a novice at Doncaster. Has stalled since then, however, and although she's not been disgraced in nurseries, she is vulnerable to less exposed rivals.
Forecasts
Ainsdale (4/7), Go Well Spicy (11/2), Ventura Flame (6/1), Tom Tulliver (10/1), Sermon (12/1)
AINSDALE won what looked a competitive nursery by four lengths at York, and that would suggest that a penalty won't stop him if he's in the same form now. Ventura Flame is high in the weights, but relishes heavy ground, and can chase the selection home, with Tom Tulliver best of the rest.
