Started this term 8lb higher and has gone close on a few occasions without getting his head in front. Smart apprentice claims 3lb so well weighted if things fall into place.
Ridden out to win over extened mile at Wolverhampton three starts ago off 6lb lower mark and ran well when third time after at Ayr. Poor effort Southwell latest but return to form not ruled out back on turf.
Won over this trip at Ayr in July 2018 off 9lb higher and scored over 6f at Carlisle in August. Latest poor run forgiven due to heavy ground and not out of it if able to run somewhere close to his best.
Seven-race maiden who showed modest form last term in six starts as a juvenile. Stumbled and fell only start this term at Ripon in June. Hard to assess so market worth noting for any support for good yard.
Ran on well to score here over a mile in July and has run other decent races since without managing to catch the judge's eye. 1lb lower than recent fair third at Ayr and has more going for him than many in this event.
Won over this trip at Carlisle in July and not completely disgraced majority of starts since, although ran poorly altest. Connections reach for first-time visor which may help focus his mind.
Only win came over this trip as a juvenile when trained by James Tate. Fair third recently but looks a difficult horse to win with despite the handicapper doing his best to give every chance.
Hasn't won since 2017 and has run poorly most starts over the past two seasons, falling 19lb in the process. Hard to enthuse over now very much into the veteran stage.
Won 6f Wolverhampton seller for Karl Burke last October before joining current yard. Shown regressive form last five starts and has tumbled down the weights so appears to have plenty to find if she is to figure.

Forecasts
Dreamseller (9/4), Leeshaan (5/1), Cameo Star (11/2), Be Bold (6/1), Cliff Bay (7/1), Naples Bay (10/1), Ishebayorgrey (10/1), Cawthorne Lad (18/1), Darwina (20/1), Caledonian Gold (20/1), Let Right Be Done (25/1), Haymarket (50/1)
Most of these have questions to answer but BE BOLD usually runs his race and deserves to get his head back in front. Top weight Cameo Star could prove the biggest danger and is arguably well handicapped if putting his best foot forward, while Naples Bay and Let Right Be Done both have some sort of claim on the form book. Unexposed Cawthorne Lad is worth a check for market support. He's not had chance to show what he can do having seen the track just once this year.
