On a good run of form and just failed to add a third win for the year last start. Well handicapped still on old form but concern he's been well beaten on three previous visits here.
Former C&D winner is in great form in winning three of his last four starts. 5lb rise gives him more to think about from a career high mark but hard to dismiss. Likely contender.
Twice a winner in novice company but yet to open his account in handicaps. Ran a good fourth on turf last start and open to improvement on an AW surface. Proving inconsistent but capable of being involved.
Sole win came over this C&D and placed second or third in her last four starts. Could be well suited by the drop back from a mile and also down in grade. Should go close on her ideal surface.
Struggled for previous trainer and in two starts for this yard since leaving Hugo Palmer in 2018. Rapidly dropping in the weights but hard to confident in.
All seven wins have come at sprint distances but is well handicapped and ran a good second over this C&D last time. One to consider but again one or two may see out the trip stronger.
Made breakthrough over 6f here in July off just 1lb higher but badly out of form in three starts since and probably best watched for now.
Sole win came in a 6f novice here but has yet to match that level of form in handicap company. Unlucky over this C&D two starts back so his latest effort here was disappointing. Down 1lb and capable if bouncing back.
Ran with credit on his first two starts at this track and matched that form on handicap debut when fifth in a bunch finish at Chelmsford on stable debut. Down 1lb and with improvement to come, he can be competitive.
Gained a first British win and a third at a sprint distance at Leicester and then got going too late off this mark at Catterick. Worth another go at this trip and another to consider if taking to this surface on course debut.
Remains a six-race maiden but ran a career best when a narrow second in a grade lower over this C&D last start. Open to improvement but he will need to progress in this company.
11lb higher than back-to-back wins over this C&D in April. Way below that level the last twice and chance revolves around a return to this track finding improved form.
Forecasts
Mums Hope (4/1), Turn To Rock (6/1), I Can (7/1), Kamikaze Lord (8/1), Water Diviner (8/1), Pentland Lad (9/1), Bounty Pursuit (11/1), Fighting Temeraire (12/1), Little Palaver (14/1), Ghayadh (20/1), Mendoza (25/1), Final Frontier (33/1)
A drop in grade and distance at her preferred track is enough to side with the in-form MUMS HOPE. The in-form Bounty Pursuit is looking for a fourth win from five starts and is another with a win over this C&D. I Can remains lightly raced and ran with credit on handicap and stable debut.
- Mums Hope
- Bounty Pursuit
