Useful novice hurdler who shaped well in most of his chasing starts when switched to that sphere; off the mark at the fourth attempt. Found a Class 2 big-field handicap chase too exacting in May at Uttoxeter; will find this easier to make a mark.
Took six attempts to get off the mark over fences finally doing so under positive tactics at Haydock in April (jumped well, good attitude). Turned in a rare poor effort when last seen in June; this is easier if he's tuned up for his return.
Overcame a long absence to complete a four-timer when winning over hurdles last December at Musselburgh (3m). Lost his unbeaten record straight after that and ran two appalling when last seen; now goes chasing; doubts remain to be answered.
Useful hurdler who has yet to totally convince over fences having fallen on his debut when well held at Ludlow and looking in need of the run last time. Off the bridle before most last time; may have a little more to offer this time around.
Dual chase winner off much lower marks last May before failing to cope with a revised mark the following month (pulled up). Blotted his copybook when last seen appearing a very hard/quirky ride (also hung badly); one to handle with care.
Useful sort over hurdles although yet to win under Rules he does look on a workable mark for his handicap chase debut. Back from a break (stable doing well with this sort though); makes plenty of appeal as the type to relish this discipline.
Cashed in twice now in handicaps over fences off much-reduced marks both times really finding an affinity with today's rider. Still very well handicapped on his old form despite an 8lb rise; has been quirky in the past; possible reformed character.

Not hard to imagine this being a useful guide to some early-season chasing form and with Rebecca Curtis having own this last year with the ill-fated Drovers Lane she could once again produce the winner with FINANCIAL OUTCOME who looks well-weighted to go close on his chasing debut. Anteros may be approaching the veteran stage but he appears to have taken on a new lease of life since being partnered by Adrian Heskin, he remains well weighted on his old form chasing a hat-trick. Worthy Farm now turns his attention to chasing although he needs to develop some consistency in his form whilst Mahlermade and Station Master can’t be left out of the equation.
