£40,000 colt. Dam was a maiden but produced 7f winner Haweeya and is a half-sister to 1m winner Emirates Gold. Pleasing debut in a Naas 7f good ground maiden last month finishing sixth of 16 beaten 6¾L. A bold show looks likely.

Zoffany colt. Half-brother to 1m winner Alexander James and Dam was a winner over this distance in France. Runner-up on both starts so far since his debut last month. Rates a leading contender to get off the mark at the third time of asking.

Colt by Free Eagle kept on well for third of eight at Roscommon earlier this month over 7f before finishing sixth of eight beaten over 9L at Leopardstown when last seen in July. Tough ask.

Daughter of Bungle Inthejungle cost €35,000 as a yearling half-brother to four winners over a variety of trips. Improved from first run to second finishing runner-up in a Listowel 7f maiden on soft ground last month. More progression expected.

Cheap €1,000 purchase as a yearling. Sire was a Group Three winner on the track and dam was lightly raced. 12th of 14 beaten 13L at odds of 100/1 on debut at Naas last month and unlikely to be troubling the judge here.

Colt by Tough As Nails out of a Imperial Ballet mare. Inexpensive€1,000 as a yearling. Last of nine beaten over 10L on effortless debut in a Curragh 6f Auction contest over 6f last month. Hard to recommend.

Daughter of Equiano out of an Excellent Art mare. Dam unraced. No impression 2f out, eventually one pace inside the final furlong to finish seventh of 14 on debut at Cork over 6f earlier this month. Worth a market check.

Daughter of Lawman out of an Elusive City mare. Inexpensive purchase. Dam winner running between 6f and, as a two-year-old, 7f. Well beaten and no impression in a couple of dismal efforts so far.

Dragon Pulse filly, dam a 1m AW winner and half-sister to two more winners. Solid start to career running well in defeat in a couple of maiden contests in June and on return to action earlier this month. Capable of having her say.

Daughter of Dream Ahead. Not much to shout about in three disappointing career starts running between 5f and 6½f. Vast improvement needed to figure.

Verdict

The Ken Condon-trained GOLD BROCADE can build on a couple of pleasing career starts in June on debut and more recently at Cork over a similar trip to land the opener. The Daughter of Dragon Pulse will face stiff opposition from Willie McCreery's filly, Call Of The Jungle who appears to be a potential improver along with the Thomas Mullins-trained Joven. Johan The Great, Early Bright and Sir I'll Chance It should not be underestimated on their second start.
