Listed winner at Pontefract back in July and largely running with credit since, including when staying on fifth in Listed race over 1m here at the Cambridgeshire meeting. Longer trip should but vulnerable to classier rivals in this.

Sole win came in 1m4f Roscommon maiden in May but improved drastically last time to finish third in Gowran Park Group 3 (1m1f) last time. Place claims but a bit to find against tougher opposition in this.

French raider. Caused a surprise when 25/1 winner of Group 3 Prix Minerve (1m4f) at Deauville in the summer but outclassed when tried in the Prix Vermeille last month. Back down in trip and class. Can't be discounted from master trainer.

Has proven to be a revelation since the application of the hood, winning three Listed races on the spin, including Yarmouth contest (1m2f) in September in cosy fashion. Back up to group company for this but on an upward curve and the one to beat.

Has a superb pedigree but not hit the heights on the track. Fared better when third in Group 3 at Longchamp last time but more is required in this contest.

Consistent filly who hasn't added to her sole success at Naas in July. Ran well but caught out by masterful ride when second in 1m4f Group 3 at this track two weeks ago. Step back in trip fine and should go well again.

Ready winner at Wolverhampton two starts ago and took form to another level when third in a Listed race at Longchamp (1m2f) six weeks ago. Has potential still and is the least exposed in the field.

Listed winner at Naas in June and running with credit since, including close fifth in Group 2 Blandford Stakes (1m2f) on Irish Champions Weekend. Slightly more needed down in class but could find that with first-time cheekpieces.

Forecasts

Fanny Logan (4/5), Simply Beautiful (5/1), Queen (7/1), Tamniah (11/1), Sweet Promise (11/1), Trethias (14/1), Exhort (18/1), Tipitena (25/1)

Verdict

FANNY LOGAN has been on a sharp upward curve since the application of the hood, and took a Listed race in cheeky fashion last time, having plenty in hand as she crossed the post. She looks more like a finished article now and sets the form standard in this contest. Simply Beautiful ran with great credit last time after many of her rivals - including herself - were caught napping in her last race and may have some black type to come, while Tamniah can't be ignored from last week's Arc-winning trainer but will need to prove her group-race win was not a fluke.
  1. Fanny Logan
  2. Simply Beautiful
  3. Tamniah
