Has a record of one win and three places from seven starts over C&D. Last win came over the combination in March off a 1lb higher mark. Well held in three starts on turf since August but folly to rule him out back at this venue.

Goes well here hitting the frame on a couple of occasions over C&D. Running with credit in a number of defeats over the summer on turf and requires plenty of respect in this contest.

A win and a place to her name from three starts over C&D. The win came in April off a 7lb lower mark. Will need to improve on a number of below-par efforts over the summer.

Lost all chance of a successful British last month when blowing the start in a Wolverhampton 6f handicap. Market likely to be the best guide here representing a yard who have been among the winners at this track in the last month.

Off the mark on turf on final start for Jessica Harrington before a gallant run behind Facethepuckout over C&D last month. Yard usually go well at this venue in October but sent out eight losers here in the last month.

Was unfancied and well beaten on Newmarket's September debut before a promising effort at Yarmouth in April on final start for trainer Roger Varian. Pleasing run at Fairyhouse on stable debut last month. Appears capable of making his mark.

Best effort since switched to handicaps came when finishing runner-up in first time blinkers in a 7f handicap at Limerick in July. Out of sorts in a couple of starts since and plenty to prove in this company.

Verdict

A wide open contest where 8lb separate the whole field. Preference is for the the Ger Lyons-trained KAFU. The No Nay Never gelding is better than his run over C&D in April suggests and the three-year-old has been running with plenty of credit in a number of starts this summer. C&D winners, Highly Approved and Annabelle Rock appear capable of bold bids once again while Twenty Minutes for Damian English and Tom Hogans Honor Oak should not be underestimated.
