Won over 2m5½f and 2m5f as a novice last season before finding life tougher in better company and with his revised mark. Handicapper released his grip now somewhat and still has potential to improve in second season over fences.
Considerably better hurdler than chaser but the bonus of that is that he's 16lb lower in this code. Jumping errors to blame for underwhelming return and that is often his Achilles heel over fences. Handicapped to go well with a clear round.
Won once, placed twice and failed to complete four times last season. Return at Newton Abbot latest underwhelming and for all on his best form he could go well he rates a high risk proposition now.
Three-time winner at favourite venue Perth although is 0-11 elsewhere. Basically been in fine form this summer apart from when finishing lame so has to be highly respected and can't hold non-Perth record against him as he hasn't run here before.
2m4½f Southwell (good) winner as a novice remained consistent and competitive throughout novice campaign which culminated in a good second of 14 at Warwick. Wouldn't want anymore rain but has sound claims.
Third start for this yard (formerly with Joseph O'Brien) and steps back in trip having been third over 3m2½f at Sedgefield latest. 0-13 record over fences hard to ignore but pick of his Irish form suggests he can strike off this sort of mark.
