Improved on two promising placed efforts at Windsor to register a first win over this trip at Newbury last month. Progressing nicely and won with a bit in hand. Sets the standard.
160,000 gns son of Dark Angel was slowly away before some late progress at Newmarket on debut in August. More needed in this company but looked as though he'd benefit for the run.
Failed to improve on promise of Bath debut when disappointing at Lingfield last month. Up a furlong and plenty to prove in this company.
Improved significantly for his debut when second over this trip at Catterick last month. Likely to benefit for that run once again for a powerful and in-form stable. Likely contender.
Son of Invincible Spirit proved in need of the experience when well held on last month's Newbury debut. Big improvement needed and may need more time.
Nice looking colt has raced three times over this trip showing nice improvement on each occasion. Clearly moving in the right direction and form is up with the strongest on offer. A win shouldn't be far away.
Son of Zebedee was sent off at 66/1 on last month's Ascot debut and never got involved. Likely best watched again with vast improvement needed to be competitive.
Well held in two starts over this trip last month and has it all to do off these terms. Likely to do better once going handicapping.
Son of Heeraat out of an unplaced dam; cost 35,000 gns as a foal and a seventh foal; half-brother to winners Wave Of Applause, Henley and Top Flight Splash. Has speed in his pedigree so one to note in the betting on debut.
Fountain Of Youth colt purchased for €30,000 at the sales but pulled too hard on debut and weakened a furlong out. Trainer's runners can improve significantly for the run so market support would be interesting.

Smokey Bear (1/1), Roman Melody (7/2), Great Image (4/1), Harlequin (8/1), Badri (10/1), Barking Mad (20/1), Tidal Racer (20/1), Juan Les Pins (40/1), Sacred Legacy (50/1), Total Perfection (66/1), Theheartneverlies (100/1)
SMOKEY BEAR is progressive, a nice looking colt and also couldn't have been more impressive in his breakthrough success which was backed up by a fast time. Roman Melody is another who catches the eye physically and is also improving at a rapid rate. He should be a clear danger along with Great Image who was much better on his second start when dropped to a sprinting distance.
- Smokey Bear
- Roman Melody
