Last win came in this grade, and saw him romp home by 11l in soft ground, so clearly has a chance of repeating that from just 1lb higher today, especially now he's dropped back to this grade. Each-way chances at worst.
Winning hurdler and successful at this trip in heavy ground at Salisbury last year, so plenty going for him in that respect, but not seen out since February and this may be a warm up for a hurdles campaign. Chacnes if fit all the same.
C&D winner here in soft ground earlier in the year, and thanks to a few below-par efforts since then, is now 1lb lower, making him look an attractive proposition if he can bounce back to form. Big chance if that's the case.
Just the one win in 26 starts an obvious concern, turned in one of his better efforts when third at Bath last time and does handle this ground, but overall profile suggests he'll find a few too good for him again.
Ready winner on quick ground on handicap debut at Yarmouth two starts back, but then got stuck in the Fibresand at Southwell last time (set too fast a pace) and was well beaten. Bit to prove after that, not least ability to handle the ground.
Back to form when a ready winner over C&D last week (in heavy ground) and 4lb penalty for that of no concern if he turns up in the same frame of mind. Clear chance of the follow up today.
Wins in his turn, but that's not very often and it tends to be on artificial surfaces these days. Probably handles heavy ground and trip suits, so not inconceivable he could take a hand, but on balance, others preferred.
Going nowhere fast at present and has tried various combinations of headgear lately, all to little effect. Others readily preferred.
Winner form 2lb lower at Southwell last December but in no great form at present and was readily seen off at Catterick last time out. Makes very little appeal today.
Shown very little in five starts to date and was well beaten in a low-grade handicap at Newmarket last time out. Needs an awful lot more here, despite another small drop in the weights.
Well beaten at big prices last few starts, all in low-grade handicaps, and makes next to no appeal here, despite an attractive-looking handicap mark.
Runner-up last two starts, including over a mile on soft ground here in August (although well beaten, in truth) and worth another try at this trip now, especially if she can settle a little better. Chances if she can.
Has a chance on the book if you take his second to Deinonychus here in August at face value, but well below par again at Kempton last time out and consistency is not his strong point.
Falling very quickly in the handicap after a series of moderate efforts in handicaps and now connections try some headgear to turn the tide. Looks unlikely, and others readily preferred.
C&D winner from 5lb lower earlier in the season, but that was on quick ground and in lesser company, so plenty to prove after some moderate efforts since then.

The ones at the top of the handicap are the ones that make the most appeal. DUTCH UNCLE hosed up the last time he encountered soft ground and is now only 1lb higher. With the services of the excellent Angus Villiers on board, he looks very tempting and could bounce back to form here. Tangramm is very much in the same boat as the selection, as he too looks very well handicapped back under conditions he enjoys, and looks a big danger. Deinonychus holds a clear form chance after his win last week here, but might not be much in the way of a value price.
