Outstrip colt. Damn was unraced on the track but closely related to Saddler's Wells. Half-sister to winner Jack Berry House and Equidae. Worth a betting check on debut.

Very green on debut two starts ago but improved nicely to take second at Beverley (7f) last time. This trip will help and pedigree suggests she will go further in time.

Pour Moi filly. Pedigree is nothing to great to shout about. Out of a mare who finished third in the Ladbroke Hurdle at Ascot in 2011 but her progeny has failed to win on the track. Best watched.

Modest effort and debut and took a backward step when last of nine over 7f at this track last month. This is another step up so is likely to struggle.

Fast Company filly. In rear and never a factor when 10th of 11 on debut at Thirsk (7f) in early September. Likely outsider in this contest.

By 2015 Derby winner Golden Horn and out of a mare who has produced various winners - mostly in Italy - including five-time winner Biz The Nurse. Of interest on debut.

By Sea The Stars and showed nice promise when a staying on third at Ascot (1m) on debut in September. Likely to need further in time but remains a leading contender in this.

Lope De Vega filly and is the first progeny from a mare who a 1m5f Listed race during her career. Closely related to High Chaparral so is regally-bred. Dangerous to dismiss.

Not out of the frame in three starts to date and only lost second on the post when third in 1m Haydock novice in early September. Claims if running up to her level once again.

Outsider on debut and couldn't show any marked progression when last of six at Musselburgh (7f) late last month. Easily opposable.

Zere

14/1
Ifraaj filly. Out of a mare who only won a 1m maiden on the track but has produced three-time winner Zymyram and two-time scorer Zamandas. Yard can ready one for debut and usually do well with juveniles.

Forecasts

Red Line Alexander (6/4), Tulip Fields (9/4), Tiempo Vuela (5/1), Eventful (11/1), Zere (14/1), Presidential Sweet (16/1), Easy Desire (28/1), High Moor Flyer (80/1), Ventura Destiny (125/1), Just Call Me Ella (250/1), Poco Contante (250/1)

Verdict

A cast of unexposed fillies take part in this novice contest and preference is for RED LINE ALEXANDER, who took the eye with the nature she stayed on at Ascot on her debut. The galloping 1m could see her to her best effect and will only improve in time over further as well. Tulip Fields has the most experience in the field and while she will need to find a bit more she has to be respected, while the likes of Tiempo Vuela and Eventful hail from powerful Newmarket yards and it would be notable if there is betting support for them.
  1. Red Line Alexander
  2. Tulip Fields
  3. Eventful
