Sole win came in Beverley seller this season but out of form for new yard, including when beaten 15L behind Chica Beuna at Hamilton (1m4f) last time. Looks a tough task off his current mark.
Had been in modest form earlier in the season but bombed out when last of four at Beverley (1m4f) in September. Takes another drop in the handicap for this.
Winner over C&D in the past and ready winner at Brighton two starts ago. Not as good off current mark at that venue last time so will need another step forward to be competitive.
Last win came at Ayr in June and had been putting up some encouraging efforts before 6L fifth at that track over 1m5f. Chance back down in class and trip but slight improvement needed.
Slightly inconsistent sort and put up one of his lesser performances when 13L ninth at Nottingham (1m6f, heavy) a week ago. Place claims on his previous third over C&D however.
Gained a second win of the year at Brighton two starts ago but took a backward step off higher mark when seventh at Yarmouth (1m4f) last time. Further 2lb rise in weights is a negative.
Four-race maiden. Best effort came when second at Wolverhampton two starts ago before modest fourth on handicap debut at Chelmsford (1m5f) last month. Still unexposed at this level and merits betting check.
Five-race maiden who was second on handicap debut two starts ago before disappointing when back in novice company at Thirsk (1m4f) last time. Unexposed and claims back at this level.
Game winner off 4lb lower over 2m here in the summer but was never able to land a blow when 14th in 1m5f Ayr handicap last month. Remains on same mark so improvement is required.
In a fine run of form recently and rattled up the hat-trick in good style with 1L success in 2m Kempton handicap in early September. Only 3lb higher for this and comes here as a leading contender.
Made a winning start for this yard back in May but well-beaten in each start since, including 69L defeat in 1m6f Redcar handicap last time. Hard to fancy on the back of those efforts.
Bets run of career came when fourth at Catterick two starts ago but failed to replicate that with 7L sixth at that track (1m4f) in late September. Vulnerable to classier rivals in this.
Good winner on handicap debut at Hamilton two starts ago but put up disappointing performance when only third as heavy odds-on favourite at Musselburgh (1m4f) last time. Bounce back required but that can happen.

TROUBLE SHOOTER has hit flying form at this time of the season, winning three races on the spin, and has been given leniency by the handicapper too. His profile suggests he has plenty of progression left in him and with his weight-for-age allowance, he looks the one to beat. There are still some unexposed sorts for this level, and the likes of Vibrance and Wadacre Galoubet shouldn't be ignored after their encouraging debut efforts in this sphere, while the effort of Chica Buena was too bad to be true last time out and is dangerously poised if she replicates her Hamilton effort.
- Trouble Shooter
- Wadacre Galoubet
- Chica Buena
