Five-race maiden. Running well in defeat in a number of career starts since March. Suffered a disappointing defeat at Naas last month but improved effort would not surprise here.
Eight-race maiden well held in a couple of recent starts at Down Royal and last month at the Curragh over 1m. Worth a market check with big drop in trip and in first-time blinkers.
With out a win in six starts for the Camacho gelding. Will need to improve on overall form to play a significant part in this contest.
Gelding by Garswood out of a Green Desert mare. Generally well held in three career starts so far. Tough to see where improvement is coming from but any market support could be significant on handicap debut.
Sent off at big prices in three career starts to date before running accordingly on each occasion. First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Five-race maiden yet to finishing in the frame on any occasion. First time hood unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here on handicap debut.
Off the mark for connections at the fifth time of asking when landing a 6f handicap on heavy ground at the Curragh last month off a 5lb lower mark. Shouldn't be underestimated.
Sent of at odds of 100/1 on each of her last three starts but not disgraced in a couple of runs at Listowel and on the AW at Dundalk last month. On balance probably has plenty to find in this company.
Forecasts
The King Of Kells (6/4), Half Nutz (4/1), Captain Corcoran (5/1), Garsman (8/1), Cobb And Co (9/1), Lady Stark (12/1), Mogwli (14/1), Settle Me Down (25/1)
KING OF KELLS got off the mark for connections at the fifth time of asking when landing a 6f handicap on heavy ground at the Curragh last month off a 5lb lower mark. The Michael Mulvany-trained gelding can continue his improvement here at the expense of six-race maiden Cobb And Co who ran well to finish within 5L of Borelli at the Curragh late last month. The Johnny Murtagh-trained Captain Corcoran and Garsman for Michael O'Callaghan can battle for the minor honours.
- The King Of Kells
- Cobb And Co
- Captain Corcoran
