17:15 Brighton Tue 8 October 2019
Held in both starts since returning from a break including on heavy going over 5f at Goodwood last time out. Worth a check in the market off a mark 17lb lower than for his most recent victory.
Built on some promising placed efforts when winning over C&D on good-to-firm ground last month. Good second on the AW since and holds strong claims once more.
Good 1½L fourth in a 6f handicap on the AW at Chelmsford at the end of August. Decent 3L fifth over the same C&D subsequently and is of interest back on turf.
Dual winner returned to form with a 3½L fourth in a 5f handicap at Bath (good-to-soft) last time out. Similar underfoot conditions forecast and he is worth a check in the market having won off a higher mark in the past.
Held in two starts since finishing third on the AW at Lingfield (5f) in August. Winner of a four runner C&D event off a 6lb higher mark in May last year.
Decent fourth in a heavy ground 5f handicap at Goodwood last month. Of interest having won off a 3lb higher mark at Haydock (5f, heavy) in October last year.
Twice a winner on turf in May including over this C&D on good-to-firm going. Held on two most recent starts however and interesting to see how he performs back from a break.
Placed on her last three starts most recently when beaten a head on good-to-soft ground over 5f at Bath just over a week ago. Notable runner despite a 5lb rise in the weights.
Fair form in finishing third in a 6f handicap at Chepstow (good-to-soft) in August. Given a break since and market support would be notable on this occasion.
Six time winner but has finished held on her two most recent outings. Beaten 11½L in a Class 7 at Kempton (5f) a week ago and is probably best watched at present.
Victorious three times in 35 starts but struggled over 7f at Chelmsford at the end of August and it'll be interesting to see how he performs back down in trip.
Handicap mark is falling having been held on each of his last five starts. More needed than when sixth on the AW over 5f at Lingfield in August.
