All his wins on turf have come on soft or heavy ground and finds himself back on his last winning handicap mark. May come on for his run at Nottingham last time.

A maiden after six starts, though two of his better efforts have come on soft ground. Had excuses last time out but doesn't look overly well-handicapped.

All his best recent form has come with plenty of cut in the ground and back below his last winning mark following five unplaced efforts so far this season. Fascinating contender with conditions in his favour.

Dead-heated at Windsor in soft ground back in 2017 but all wins since have come on AW. Ran okay here last time out when only beaten 2L but more needed in this deeper race.

Soft ground winner at Hamilton back in May but hasn't replicated that form since and he's been particularly disappointing on his last couple of starts; wide draw no help and others preferred.

Last win came in selling company for his previous yard and while he's been running okay in defeat of late, his best form is a quick surface; others preferred.

Sole win in 22 starts came over C&D in maiden company and he's been well below his best this season. Hard to fancy from out of the handicap here.
