Got his head back in front at Newcastle in July and did well to finish third from off the pace at Chester last time out. Has won with cut in the ground but has stamina to prove at this trip.
Improving since joining this yard, winning three of his four starts and the sole defeat was merely a short neck. 8lb higher for the latest win but only going one way at present.
A winner on debut and sent off favourite for a Group 3 next time out but has gone backwards in a big way subsequently. Failed to beat a rival home on return at Yarmouth last time out and hard to fancy at present.
Off the mark at the eighth attempt on heavy ground at Haydock in August and only narrowly denied back at that venue last month in a competitive 17 runner handicap. Up another 2lb but gets his conditions again and ought to go well.
Off the mark at the third attempt when winning a three runner affair at Hamilton last time out. Unlikely that form is all that strong and handicapper has taken no chances with his opening mark.
