Form has an inconsistent look about it but he came good at Warwick before running poorly at Cartmel and Stratford. Tongue-tie latest new headgear addition.
A point-to-point winner who is still looking for his first win under Rules. Has been disappointing on his three chase appearances to date, including latest at Warwick when a weakening sixth of eight.
Scraped home at Ludlow last year for only success over fences and after a spell in the doldrums he ran pretty well when last seen at Ffos Las in the spring in finishing second. Should make the frame if in the same vein of form.
Losing run keeps racking up and tried a variety of trips over hurdles and fences with little success. Latest 11th of 13 at Worcester yet more form to suggest looking elsewhere.
Tailed off sixth of seven on recent return at Worcester and even though he may have needed that on balance he looks best avoided given his form late on in 2018 was little better.
Stratford winner in 2018 but failed to complete in four of his last six including unseating when beaten latest and on balance he is now very hard to recommend.
Recent addition to this yard who has a point-to-point success only to his name but he has certainly flashed potential and looks just the sort this team excel with and could prove very well handicapped now.
Seven-time winner is well below his winning mark of 2018 now but has seemed to regress quite fast since then and the evidence at present is overwhelmingly in favour of looking elsewhere.
Produced his best effort for quite some time when winning at Huntingdon in March over 3m (ended long losing spell). Unsurprisingly has failed to follow up that win in four starts since and is as usual hard to fancy even in new headgear.
Remains a maiden after 1 outings. Has shown no signs this season that his opening win is just around the corner. He could only finish a remote fifth latest and as usual he is one of the first ones to remove from calcualtions.
One of the worst horses in training as a maiden of 56 starts and makes absolutely no appeal as ever from two stone out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Moores Novelty (8/13), Howlongisafoot (5/1), Sutter's Mill (8/1), Scottshill (10/1), Captains Run (11/1), Leaving Home (16/1), Perpignan (25/1), Blackjacktennessee (28/1), The Jugopolist (33/1), Right Royals Day (50/1), Sussex Road (100/1)
In a weak contest this looks just the sort of race MOORES NOVELTY can strike in on in his debut for Dan Skelton whose ability at improving new recruits is pretty much second to none. Sutter's Mill looks the biggest danger after running reasonably well latest and Scottshill is the other with some sort of chance if on a going day.
- Moores Novelty
- Sutter's Mill
- Scottshill
