Bumper winner, ran well in defeat on hurdling debut in a Tramore maiden in August over 2m5f, finishing third of 12 beaten 1½L.. Failed to follow up that effort next time out at Listowel; needs to bounce back.
Off the the mark on just his second bumper start at Punchestown last year before promising effort on hurdles debut at Killarney in August; excellent chance if improving for that experience.
Point-to-point winner who showed good promise on only race under rules in a bumper at Tipperary in May; long absence a slight concern but certainly one with a better chance than most.
A warm favourite when falling at the last on his hurdles debut at Killarney in August; had previously won two bumpers; leading chance if staying on his feet.
Cost a massive £225,000; excellent form in all his starts in bumpers (apart from a disappointing run at Leopardstown in February). Clear chance if he can translate his obvious ability over hurdles.
Point-to-point winner previously but has been pulled up on both bumper starts at Punchestown and Roscommon in May before running with more promise later the same month at Ballinrobe; long absence slight concern but has reasonable each-way chance.
Nothing to note in two bumper appearances to date including being tailed off last time out at Kilbeggan in September; needs to put that form behind him on hurdles debut to get involved.
Well held in a couple of starts over hurdles and unlikely to be troubling the judges unless improving out of all recognition.
Well-bred son of New Approach who has several winners in his pedigree; string of placed efforts on the flat suggested he has ability but lacked a winner's mentality; very interesting contender on hurdles debut.
Got off the mark at the third attempt in bumpers when winning at Cork in August; will be interesting if she can translate that form over hurdles but if she can, looks to have a reasonable chance.
Last of 10 on bumper debut in February before finishing tailed off the following month at Wexford; hard to make a convincing case for.

Rocket Lad (6/4), Run Wild Fred (13/8), Drury (5/1), Chead Solas (8/1), Bois De Clamart (10/1), Ballymacaw (16/1), Hell On Earth (16/1), Silver Sheen (33/1), Wajaaha (33/1), Doyen Dancer (50/1), Tuatha De Dannan (66/1), Moscowsowhat (66/1), Tommy Kiln (100/1), Why Stop Now (100/1)
ROCKET LAD gets the marginal nod based on his bumper and hurdles form. He fell at the last on his only outing over hurdles at Killarney when arguably looking like winning. If he jumps better then may take all the beating, Run Wild Fred will have his supporters based on his good record in bumpers and hailing from a top yard. He has a lofty reputation to uphold and he should go well. Wajaaha failed to win on the flat but showed a great deal of consistency. If taking to jumping there is no reason why he should not play a leading role. Chead Solas has some fair form over hurdles and is expected to improve again.

- Chead Solas
