Her form last year for Tom Lacey was a relatively mixed bag although not without showing ability on some occasions; clearly not right when last seen (handicap debut). Subsequently sold for £8,000 (first run for new yard); best watched for now.
Dual winner over hurdles in handicaps earlier this year including over C&D (race rather fell apart) before failing to complete the hat-trick back here without her usual hood. Yet to totally prove herself off this mark; hood returns, run may be needed
Dropped back to 2m last month to record her second 2m novice hurdle victory having been beaten over further (2m6f) off this mark on handicap debut in between. Mark remains the same; likes to front run, should be suited by this course; shortlist.
Bumper winner who has carried over that shown that she also has ability over hurdles (2-9) winning her second handicap on her latest start last month at Uttoxeter (2m). Showed a good attitude; should go well again off just a 4lb higher mark.
Returns from a long absence with her sole win having come at the now defunct Towcester circuit when making her hurdles debut. Form after that was rather erratic (best form came at Ludlow), first run left-handed, best watched on her comeback.
Took this last year off an identical mark; looks to be following the same build up this year having run in the same Flat race that she contested last year on her most recent start. Capable sort over hurdles (travels well); noted for a repeat win.
Not without some promise in bumpers and over hurdles with her best display coming when she was last seen in a juvenile hurdle at Huntingdon (2m); little chance with winner. Goes handicapping off a feasible mark, not out of the equation.
Managed to put everything together for the first time at Worcester In August over 2m; suited by first-time cheekpieces. Given a rather harsh 9lb rise for that victory she wasn't disgraced last time but failed to see her race out fully; others preferr
Had the look of a handicap project during her qualifying runs although it wasn't until she was dropped to a mark 11lb below her opening one that she showed her best in this sphere. Only narrowly beaten by Sid Hoodie last time; remains low mileage.
Forecasts
Bannixtown Glory (9/4), Sid Hoodie (4/1), Shufoog (11/2), Dariya (13/2), Passing Dream (8/1), Fairy Pol (10/1), Timassini (12/1), Furia D'Oudairies (16/1), Lady Cylla (33/1)
There are one or two relatively unexposed sorts in this problematic heat with Timassini and Furia D’Oudairies lurking off dangerous looking marks given their previous form although the former will need to reverse Uttoxeter form with the consistent Sid Hoodie. Bannixtown Glory returns to handicaps with the benefit of another win behind her which will have boosted her confidence and she may get the run of the race. Both Passing Dream and Shufoog have shown some of their best hurdling form around here and the latter looks very much to have been set up for a repeat of last year’s victory via a recent Flat run and off her last winning mark also.
- Shufoog
- Timassini
