Scored in Ffos Las novice in August over 7½f on good to soft and made good late headway when second to re-opposing Dramatic Sands at Kempton (1m) on nursery bow last month. Goes on shortlist with that rival and others.
Posted figures of 2-121 in five runs, with the scratch coming in the Chesham at Royal Ascot won by Pinatubo. Made all at Kempton (1m) last time, just holding off rallying Hexagon at the line. In the mix again.
Burned his rivals off from the start (made all) when a 4L winner at Windsor (1m, good to firm) last month, though unable to justify support 12 days later at Doncaster in Class 2 nursery. Entitled to find a bit more in this company if taking to AW.
Has run well in all five turf starts, going closest at Sandown (7f, good to firm) in August. Fourth of five last month at Doncaster in Class 2 nursery over a mile, though not disgraced. Makes AW debut here.
Dubawi colt, ran on strongly to get best of Forbidden Land at Sandown (7f, good to firm) in August in nursery bow. There should be more to come from him, yard a bit quiet lately.
Has shown promise in three novice starts to this point, but will surely need to find plenty improvement now tackling a nursery to best these rivals.
Placed in both starts in nurseries at Goodwood and Sandown over 7f, formerly when sporting blinkers which are returned now. Every chance of more to come and has already handled the Polytrack at Kempton.
Son of Lethal Force, gelded before winning Class 6 nursery at Kempton over 7f last month. Decent run since at Newbury on turf under penalty. Should be competitive in this open event.
Forecasts
Imperial Empire (3/1), Hexagon (7/2), Dramatic Sands (9/2), Impatient (6/1), Forbidden Land (8/1), Incinerator (10/1), Qaaddim (11/1), Pitchcombe (14/1)
Dramatic Sounds just held off Hexagon last time at Kempton, the winner is proving very consistent and both are respected now but they might struggle giving away weight to IMPERIAL EMPIRE. He got the best of the re-opposing Forbidden Land at Sandown in August with a strong late run and there should be more to come from him. The market will prove a useful tool, with Qaaddim and Pitchcombe also having their merits on form.
- Imperial Empire
- Dramatic Sands
- Hexagon
