Had been a consistent sort since joining this yard but disappointing the last twice, including 12th in 7f Catterick handicap last time. Tends to need luck in running.
C&D winner in the past and showed some sort of form revival when fifth in 6f Thirsk handicap just over two weeks ago. Blinkers are turned to to irk out more improvement.
Not seen since May when never nearer 11th in 6f Thirsk handicap (good). Off since and while he returns 1lb above his last winning mark, others make more appeal.
Shaped well on his only effort on this type of surface but took a backward step when eighth in 5f Beverley handicap in August. Bounce back required but by no means ruled out.
Belated opened her account over 7f here in August and arguably improved to take second at Catterick (7f) in late September. In flying form and likely to be in the mix once again.
Record stands at 1-29 and nineteen runs since last victory. Modest fifth in Beverley handicap (6f) latest and doesn't make much appeal at the moment.
Thrice-raced maiden who wasn't knocked about when sixth of eight at Lingfield (6f) in November. Not seen since and makes handicap debut in this.
Losing record now stands at 14 and didn't show any signs of that ending when 17th of 18 at Fairyhouse (7f) in July. Very hard to make a case for.
Generally been running to his mark all season and kept on well to take third at Catterick (7f, good to firm) 11 days ago. Each-way player on that evidence.
Not one for winning but running well of late and shaped okay in torrential conditions at Hamilton (6f, heavy) two days ago. Place claims if that hasn't taken much out of her.
Progressive and registered career-best when winning C&D handicap with plenty to spare five days ago. This is tougher but looks the one to beat.
Consistent sort in low-grade handicaps and that was the case when third of 11 at Southwell (6f) just under two weeks ago. Another each-way claim is likely.

BE PROUD possesses one of the most progressive profiles in the race and the manner of his victory over C&D last time was noteworthy. The 3lb rise in his mark still leaves him well-handicapped and he may be more than just a low-grade performer in time. One who isn't as progressive but is improving is Scandinavian Lady, who boasts solid course form and can improve yet again on her recent efforts, while the likes of Mansfield and Tease Maid usually run to their mark and should be vying for the places with her.
