Maiden son of Frankel stepped back to 7½f and ran one of his best races latest when fourth at Lingfield last time out. Handicap sliding for a while and may appreciate this, the shortest distance he's ever faced.

Been in great form in 2019 with three wins from 1m to 1m½f and in between she's basically been a model of consistency. Rare unplaced effort latest but still ran well enough at Salisbury. Not attractively handicapped but still likely to go well.

Far from convincing stamina-wise over C&D two starts back having run well over 6f the time before. Did look worth another try at the trip latest when a running on fourth however so not ruled out altogether.

Apart from unseating her rider once she's been in the first three in all 10 of her starts for this yard and won four times. Won with plenty in hand here over 6f just last week and every bit as good over 7f so bold bid assured under a 5lb penalty.

18-race maiden has made the frame in four of his nine previous AW starts but changed hands now after an uninspiring spell of form. Others considerably safer bets now.

Impression is that this lightly raced four-year-old is best on AW surfaces and was really impressive over C&D when winning for the first time latest. Goes up 5lb for that success but every chance there's more to come.

Second at Bath latest her best effort of 2019 and one which puts her in the mix but her four previous AW runs have all been below par so the return to this surface has to be a concern.

Eight-race maiden not far from seriously threatening in more recent times over 6f. This will be her first try on the AW but faces rivals with more attractive overall profiles.

Holding his form well of late and finally gained an overdue breakthrough win at Lingfield (turf) before third and fourth placed finishes at Chepstow and Ffos Las. Possibilities here although AW form less inspiring.

Seems to have found some form of late and was second at 25/1 here last time out; her second silver medal in three starts. Matching it might be hard however from 4lb out of the handicap and her 2-40 record isn't forgotten.

Maiden who in 15 starts has never once made the frame. 6lb out of the handicap today so odds-on that the run continues.

Verdict

In much the stronger division of this race last-time-out winners MAGICINTHEMAKINGand Gavi Di Gavi both make a great deal of appeal off marks 5lb higher than their recent scores. The former gets the nod with her consistency quite remarkable at this sort of level. Imperial Act is best of the rest and by no means underestimated.
