Won for the second time in his career when landing a Roscommon 1m4f handicap on heavy ground off a 6lb lower mark before running well once again of his revised mark at Galway last month over a similar trip. Leading contender.

Eight-race maiden posted a career best effort on latest start at Navan over 1m2f in a good to firm handicap last month finishing second of 18 beaten a head behind The Lady's Bid. Another bold show expected.

Posted a career best when finishing second of 11 beaten 4L at Naas over 1m2f before disappointing at Down Royal on latest start in August. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.

Has disappointed in a number of below-par efforts over hurdles recently but has shown plenty of promise in three previous starts on the Flat over the summer. Remains with potential.

Four-race maiden. Infrequent visits to the track have stifled the daughter of Dawn Approach chances of progression. Returns in first-time tongue tie back from another break.

Running with credit when sent off at double figure prices in three starts since July. Second of 18 beaten over 7L on latest start at Galway last month over 1m4f. Liable to find a couple of better handicapped sorts lurking.

Has been very busy this year but the 12-race maiden has yet to be able to land her first victory. Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success in this company.

Has not really progressed on the Flat since winning over 1m3½f on heavy ground at Limerick in April 2018. Makes little appeal on what the Casamento gelding has shown in the last month and will need to improve to figure.

Without a win in 10 including seven Flat starts on turf. Running into a little bit of form recently with a couple of improved efforts at Fairyhouse and more recently on stable debut at Ffos Las last month. Market likely to be the best guide.

Third Reserve: below-par 95-rated handicap hurdler last seen in action in May. Sole win on the Flat came in a claimer, three years ago. Impossible to make a case for racing 28lb lower than last winning mark.

Verdict

LIAR'S CORNER has been in solid and consistent form over this trip in four starts since finishing fourth of 13 at Down Royal in July. The Zoffany gelding won for the second time in his career when landing a Roscommon 1m4f handicap on heavy ground off a 6lb lower mark before running well once again of his revised mark at Galway last month. The four-year-old can get back to winning ways here ahead of Alice Milligan, second of 18 at Navan last month and Bear Claws who posted a career best effort at the Curragh in August. The basement rated Early Strike and Harvey Specter should not be underestimated.
