Already twice a winner at this track in short career and didn't do anything wrong when narrowly denied over 5f here last time. Leading player from out of the handicap.
Hasn't won in nearly a year and looked to be working his way back to form before 4L seventh at Newcastle (7f) last time. Dropped 2lb to new career-low mark.
14-race maiden who shaped well for a long way on the AW at Southwell (7f) on latest start. This is a tougher contest and is starting to look exposed in this company.
Belatedly off the mark at Thirsk two starts ago but looked like didn't handle the AW surface when down the field at Southwell (7f) last time. Can be forgiven and entitled to bounce back.
respectable debut for this yard over 5f two starts ago but couldn't land a blow of same mark at Redcar (6f) last time. Has a bit to find on ratings now.
Promising second in first two starts this season and likely to have had excuses when 4L fourth at Chepstow (5f) in August. Off 1lb lower though and could be one step ahead of the handicapper.
Had looked to be struggling off revised marks but showed likeable attitude to win 6f Redcar handicap five days ago. Quickly turned on but has 6lb rise to deal with.
Finished well down the field in every start this season, including tailed-off seventh at Catterick last time. Very hard to make a case for.
Forecasts
Grimsdyke (6/4), Twentysixthstreet (5/2), Pearl Of Qatar (8/1), Quanah (10/1), Abie's Hollow (11/1), Ey Up Its Mick (12/1), Absolute Dream (12/1), Liberty Diva (100/1)
TWENTYSIXTHSTREET has shown obvious liking for the track this season and looks versatile when it comes to trip or ground. He runs off the same mark for his latest second and punters shouldn't be put off by the face he is 7lb wrong at the weights as he looks to have the class edge. Ey Up Its Mick had been showing likeable form and clearly didn't handle the synthetic surface last time, while the likes of Pearl of Qatar and Absolute Dream could be one step ahead of the handicapper given their lowered marks.
- Twentysixthstreet
- Ey Up Its Mick
- Pearl Of Qatar
