Losing streak now stands at 11 and without a win this year. Put up one of better performances when fourth in 5f Redcar handicap eight days ago. More required once again.

C&D winner in the past and latest victory came at Nottingham (5f, heavy) in August. Below-par fifth at Hamilton latest and could be in the grip of the handicapper.

On a long losing streak stretching back to 2018 and not at best when fifth at Hamilton (5f, soft) last week. Is a course winner in the past though.

Last win came at Southwell in August but disappointed at that venue (5f) three days ago. A bit to find on ratings.

Track specialist with three C&D wins to her name, with latest victory here coming back in August. Latest third in 5f Wolverhampton handicap suggests she's still in good form.

On a barren losing streak but fared better than result suggested when sixth over C&D just over two weeks ago. Mark has tumbled so not without hope.

Only yielded one success from 23 runs and yet to fire this term, including seventh in C&D handicap latest. Makes little appeal for now.

Not the most solid profile and hasn't been seen since finishing midfield in 5f Wolverhampton handicap. Bets watched on comeback start.

Not firing this season and absent since finishing 17th at Thirsk (6f, good to firm) in April. Hard to fancy on that evidence.

Inconsistent sort and a long-time maiden. Visor didn't work when last in 5f Ayr handicap last week. Readily opposed.

Remains a maiden after 26 runs and didn't show any signs of that changing when eighth in 5f Hamilton handicap last time out. Makes limited appeal.

Record stands at 1-22. Well beaten in last couple of starts, including 13th in 5f Chepstow handicap just under three months ago. Marked step up required.

C&D winner in the past but on a losing run dating back to 2017. 11th in 5f Newcastle handicap 11 days ago and unlikely to trouble the judge in this.

Inconsistent sort who put up modest performance when last of 13 in C&D handicap on latest start. Easy to oppose.

Forecasts

Jeffrey Harris (9/4), Astrophysics (4/1), One Boy (9/2), Thornaby Princess (17/2), Lord Of The Glen (17/2), Bluella (14/1), Poppy Jag (22/1), Corton Lass (25/1), Kemmeridge Bay (25/1), Little Miss Lola (28/1), Lady Joanna Vassa (33/1), Griffin Street (40/1), Kyroc (40/1), Laoise (50/1)

Verdict

A weak-looking handicap which looks a good chance for THORNABY PRINCESS to get back on the winning. Her victory here last month has been backed up with consistency and her current mark suggests the handicapper is taking a chance. Lord Of The Glen ran well for a long way over C&D latest and his tumbling mark could leave him well-perched, while Jeffrey Harris caught the eye over C&D recently but needs to put a disappointing Hamilton performance behind him.
