Has produced two similar efforts at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) and Goodwood (7f, good) so far, being edged out by a short head in the latter. Clearly has to be shortlisted, and dam's only win came on heavy ground. Remains of interest.
8-1 and led for a while before folding on debut at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) in July. Stable's runners tend to improve for their first outing, so a fair bit more is anticipated this time.
Half-sister to 1m 2yo winner Nivaldo. Dam is a German 1m3f winner, closely related to German 1m4f Gr 1 winners Nymphea and Nutan. Stable's turf juveniles have an 8% strike rate, so perhaps one to watch this time unless market vibes strong.
Half-sister to five winners inc Racer Forever (6f-7f inc at 2/Group 3), Wrood (1m2f) and Oman Sea (6f 2yo). Dam 6f 2yo winner (won on good to soft). Stable's turf 2yos just 3%, so probably one to watch first time.
Forecasts
Craylands (4/9), Ascraeus (6/1), Sea Of Marmoon (8/1), So I Told You (12/1), Volcano Bay (12/1)
Michael Bell appears to have found a good opportunity for CRAYLANDS to break her duck, and given that her dam won on heavy ground, she looks well equipped to do so. Ascraeus and Sea Of Marmoon should both improve for their first runs and should be the two to follow home the selection.
