All or nothing performer who has won two of his last five races but tailed off last in the other three. Has the ability to play a leading part but not easy to predict.
Runner up three times over hurdles and fences but yet to get his head in front. Hasn't progressed from debut over fences and blinkers now replace the usual cheek pieces. Acts on good to soft, yet to race on soft.
Won over hurdles at this venue when trained by Gordon Elliott and had form in the distant past on soft ground, but has shown nothing in the last year since joining this yard and needs to bounce back.
Bit better when third at Stratford on latest but last win was in a selling hurdle over a year ago and this front runner may have competition for the lead.
Improved in the spring to land a hat-trick over hurdles and has generally taken well to the larger obstacles dead-heating at Bangor prior to falling here three out when still in contention. Ground could be an issue but boasts the best recent form.
Didn't progress after winning a good ground hurdle at Southwell in June 2018 and was pulled up after a mistake on sole attempt over fences a year ago. Has first run since leaving Charlie Longsdon and worth keeping an eye on in market.

Forecasts
Way Out West (15/8), Precious Bounty (7/2), Royal Plaza (4/1), Malangen (5/1), Middlebrow (8/1), Robin Des Mana (14/1), River Purple (100/1)
A weak contest for the grade with most of these out of sorts or hard to predict. There should be a decent pace on which will be benefit Middlebrow who, if on a going day would be hard to beat, but MALANGEN is the more likely to run his race and is preferred. Way Out West now starts off for a new yard and could be of interest.
