Kingman filly who was foaled on April 20 and cost 35,000 gns as a yearling. She is a half-sister to Encore L'amour who prevailed over 1m as a two-year-old. Keep an eye out for any market support on her opening start.
Heeraat filly who was foaled on March 6. Her dam appeared just once but is a half-sister to Number Theory who won at trips up to 1m4f, with some of her success coming at Haydock. May need further so others make more of appeal.
Finished seventh of 14 on her debut at Salisbury (6f), beaten 15½L where she stayed on strongly at the finish without troubling the leaders. More can be expected this time around so she has to be respected.
Dabirism filly who was foaled on March 28 and cost €150,000 as a yearling. Her dam won over 7f as a two-year-old. She is a half-sister to Rainbow Crossing who won at trips up to 1m1½f. Likely type on debut.
Has performed moderately well in two class four events so far. She was ninth of 16 last time at Ascot (6f) where she faded away from the leaders in the closing stages. This assignment looks easier so she is one to consider.
Made her debut at Newcastle (6f) on the AW, finishing fifth of 14 in an encouraging start to her career after going off at 25/1. She stayed on strongly at the finish on her first run. Best to watch on opening turf appearance.
Made a belated debut over this C&D earlier this month where she could only finish seventh of 12 runners. She was never at the front end of the field on her first start after going off at 66/1. Needs to improve here.
Came home fourth of 12 at Carlisle (6f) on her opening start after going off at 7/2. She ran very green at times during that first run but made good headway inside the final 1f. A better performance can be expected. One for the shortlist.
Has not been far away on both of her two appearances to date. She was third of 14 last time at Beverley (5f), finishing just 1L off the winner. This step up in distance should help her chances of success. One to think about.
Finished second over this C&D on her debut, beaten by just 1L. She was staying on strongly at the finish here which suggests there is more to come on her return to action. Leading contender to gain her first success.
Forecasts
Whatabird (9/4), Quick Recap (5/2), Ikebana (9/2), Mrs Merton (7/1), Reviette (8/1), Made For All (14/1), Emma Cappelen (16/1), Noble Dawn (25/1), Pushover (40/1), Herring Bay (80/1)
WHATABIRD showed a lot of promise on her debut over this C&D and she can go one place better here on her second start with an improved performance now she has some experience. Mrs Merton looks good enough to be in contention at the finish at this level on her third appearance, while Quick Recap must be considered for the placings as she showed potential on her first outing despite running green for large parts of the contest.
- Whatabird
