Well down the field in two starts, including here last time out, and needs a load of improvement form somewhere or it'll be more of the same today.
Cost 22,000gns as a foal, price dropping to 10,000gns as a yearling, second foal; some positives to be taken from the pedigree and yard are 14% with their 2yos here, so has chances on debut if the market speaks in his favour.
Helmet colt that cost 3,200gns as a yearling, 8th foal; bred to be speedy and local yard make a good fist of it here, so although they are not known for first time out 2yo winners, he's worth a look in the market for any support.
Ravens Pass colt, improved on Salisbury debut to finish a respectable sixth at Sandown last time. Sire gets winners on this surface and if improving again, has place chances at worst, despite a moderate draw.
Kodiac colt, not cheap in the context of this race at 220,000gns as a foal, but already gelded and hooded for debut, which sound a few alarm bells. Yard 15% with their 2yos here but enough negatives on debut to make you look elsewhere.
Had four runs to date, best one coming at Nottingham in August but even that form would need stepping up on; big plus is the sire, who has an excellent record with his offspring on this surface.
Acclamation gelding, ran a solid enough race on debut here last month when a staying-on fourth over 5f here, a run that gives him every chance if he can build on it and improve for the extra furlong today.
Swiss Spirit colt that looked badly in need of the experience at Chester on debut earlier in the month, although not totally disgraced in the end. Needs more but sire does get the odd winner on Fibresand, and he's not discounted.
Pivotal colt, cost 35,000gns as a foal. Bred to want a little further than this and yard not known for debut winners, so best watched today.
£10,000 purchase as a yearling, makes some appeal on pedigree but likely to need this experience for a yard that get few 2yo debut winners.
Casamento filly, outran her 100-1 odds when a close fourth at Wolverhampton on second start, and would give her every chance if she could repeat it on this slower surface (which isn't a given). Has to be considered.
Sleeping Indian filly, finished midfield on debut here in August and then ran to a similar level at Carlisle last time out. Looks one for nurseries after today.
Ruler Of The World filly that finished well down the field on her debut at Catterick earlier in the month, and has little chance on that today.

A wide open nursery where something could easily improve out of recognition for a first look at Fibresand. Top of that list could be Pull Harder Con, but he's not really shown enough as yet, and preference is for ROYAL CONTEXT, who already has Fibresand experience after a good debut effort here. The extra furlong can only be in his favour and he looks the one to beat. Sheung Wan was too green on debut but better can be expected here, and newcomer Bavardages has to be given consideration, as does Bremner Pass.
