Zebedee gelding that's not improved on his Newbury debut in four subsequent starts and took a big step backwards at Kempton last time. May find this easier but too many questions to answer at present, and others preferred.

Found some improvement form somewhere to win a Thirsk nursery two starts back but threw in a stinker back there last time out and now gets headgear. Not one to trust, clearly, but chances if the cheekpieces work, and surface may suit.

Was looking regressive until stopping the rot in style with a win at Kempton eleven days ago, making every yard of the running. Different surface and penalty to contend with are the negatives, but clearly in good heart.

Little to cheer in three starts to date but it wasn't a disaster at Newmarket on latest start and hinted at better to come. Has chances of taking to the surface on pedigree and is at least on a workable mark. Watch market for a clue.

Ran okay on nursery debut at Ffos Las last time, possibly a little unlucky not to finish closer after finding trouble, and sire does get a few winners on Fibresand, so if staying this longer trip, can't be discounted.

Decent enough debut at Goodwood back in May but some pretty awful efforts since then and hopes now pinned on headgear and a change of surface. Others looks far more persuasive.

Well beaten at big prices in three starts, so needs plenty of improvement on nursery debut, but yard do well with the limited number of runners they have here and on that alone, is worth a look in the market for any support.

Seems to be getting the hang of things now, only beaten a length on latest start at Newcastle when staying on well, and this extra furlong should help. Has the inside draw and chances if taking to this surface.

Beaten out of sight at huge prices in three starts and hard to see why today should be any different, despite the addition of headgear.

Done little in three starts to suggest he's going to be up to throwing down a challenge to the main protagonists here, and not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.

Forecasts

Interrupted Dream (4/1), Village Rock (4/1), Big Boris (4/1), Sophar Sogood (5/1), Speed Merchant (11/2), Sir Havelock (6/1), Indra Dawn (8/1), Fair Warning (10/1), Lady Erimus (11/1), Activius (12/1), Thomas Hawk (20/1), Ontheradar (33/1)

Verdict

Interrupted Dream turned things around with a good win at Kempton last time and is the one to beat on form, but BIG BORIS took a step forward last time out and with every chance he'll take to the surface, is given the vote. Village Rock and Sir Havelock are other potential improvers, and market moves for either Sophar Sogood or Fair Warning need noting.
  1. Big Boris
  2. Interrupted Dream
  3. Sir Havelock
