Recently seen on the Flat and over hurdles at Killarney and Galway, without success. Winner when last seen jumping a fence landing a Punchestown novice chase over 2m in May. Continuation of development is likely.
Solid 141-rated hurdler but yet to hit the frame on five starts over the larger obstacles. No signs of a liking for fences in three starts since June and appears on a high enough mark on handicap debut.
Winner at the eighth attempt over fences when landing a Ballinrobe handicap off an 8lb lower mark in May. Well beaten in five subsequent starts over a variety of distances including being tailed off at Ballinrobe last month. Looks opposable.
Winner over C&D of the novice chase at this meeting 12 months ago his sole success in 11 starts over fences. Well held in a couple of hurdle starts but capable of a bold bid back over the larger obstacles.
Early promise of early season appears to have diminished in a couple of dismal efforts at Ballinrobe in June and more recently at Listowel earlier this month. Reluctant to start last time out and should be approached with caution.
Popular veteran who landed a double in December and January but subsequent efforts have seen the gelding drop 4lb below last winning mark. Hard to construct much of a case for him here.
Solid and consistent type, running well in defeat in a number of starts over fences and more recently on the Flat. 10-race chase maiden but certainly worthy of a change of luck.
Running well over the larger obstacles of late, winning at Tipperary in July. One for any shortlist in this company.
Form of her Down Royal win in May has completely deserted the daughter of Mahler in a number of dour performances over fences. Handicap mark continues to fall but hard to confident at present.
Course winner that has also won over this trip. Generally well held in a couple of starts since winning over hurdles at Downpatrick last month. Last chase win came in December 2016 off a 6lb lower mark. Place claims.

The Jessica Harrington-trained, LIGHT THAT can land the spoils here on return to action over fences following a win in a Punchestown novice chase in May. The seven-year-old has been beaten over hurdles since but can get the better of the likes of C&D winner Thecraicisninety and the solid and consistent, Cliff House in a competitive handicap. Bottom weight, Effernock Lad should not be taken lightly.
