Out of form on his last two starts of 2018 and failed to perform on last month's reappearance. Well handicapped but hard to fancy at present.

Without a win since 2017 despite much reduced mark. Not disgraced the last twice and this extra furlong suits. Place possibilities.

Now rated 8lb lower than when justifying favouritism at Thirsk (7f, good to firm) in July 2018; has shown more promise of late, but the major question mark centres around his level of ability on the AW (0-2).

Sole win came in a Lingfield maiden back in 2017. Back to form when third over this C&D last time and a similar effort should see him competitive again.

Won back-to-back races here in April and remains just 2lb higher. Below that level on his last two starts and needs to be back to his best here.

Has struggled to make any sort of impression in four career starts to date and will need to find plenty of progress on this AW debut.

Dandy Man gelding went close in two of six starts for Brian Meehan and now makes stable debut following wind surgery. Well beaten on sole handicap start but potentially on a competitive mark.

Won a maiden for Richard Hannon back in 2016 but struggled badly on his last three starts for his previous yard last year. Returns for new stable following over a year off and best watched.

Showcasing gelding has proved inconsistent in six starts so far. May have more to offer up in trip and capable at his best but needs to leave a poor effort behind.

3lb higher than last year's Hamilton win and ran to a similar level when third at Ripon latest. That could see him involved but his previous AW form is unconvincing.

Seven-race maiden was not disgraced when a running on sixth off a slow pace at Thirsk latest. Possible improver but this would require more to be involved.

Back to winning form when scoring at Yarmouth latest, building on two promising runs. Remains well handicapped off just 4lb higher and won this last year off 5lb higher. Leading contender.

Remains 3lb higher than sole win but ran a good second at Musselburgh latest. Needs to be better than his previous three visits here but he's improved since then and should be competitive.

Now 7lb lower than when signing off with a win last year but his form has been inconsistent this time around. Capable of being involved but hard to be confident in.

Forecasts

Blazing Dreams (5/1), Traveller (11/2), Colonel Slade (6/1), Troop (15/2), Uncle Norman (10/1), Top Offer (10/1), Mamdood (12/1), Jazz Hands (14/1), Schnapps (14/1), Hitman (20/1), Bold Show (20/1), Clovenstone (28/1), Bouclier (33/1), Amood (40/1)

Verdict

The veteran TOP OFFER is on an attractive mark despite his latest rise and heads here in very good form which is always a plus at this level. Jazz Hands is worth another go on an AW surface and also comes off the back of a good run. Traveller returned to better form over this C&D last time and is respected.
