Won two races for Alan King earlier in his career but couldn't deliver for Stuart Williams. Regression continued in two starts for this yard so again hard to be optimistic.

Hurdle and dual Flat AW winner over 1m4f for Olly Williams was well beaten on stable debut over 1m6f a fortnight ago at Catterick so is probably best watched now.

Seven-time winner including here over 7½f this season on good and subsequently on heavy over 1m at Yarmouth. Shade disappointing latest at Ripon but not ruled out and any rain would be welcome.

7lb below mark for second of back-to-back wins in 2018 but continues to frustrate over a variety of trips this season. Handicapped to go well but comes with plenty of risks.

Lightly raced 7f course winner ran better than bare form suggested after a layoff at Newcastle latest (seventh of 12 beaten 3½L over 1m2f). Can improve second time back here.

Still 6lb higher than when winning at Nottingham in April but must be taken seriously with his fourth at Leicester latest after a break a more than satisfactory return and one that he should come on for.

Off the mark over C&D two starts back and led until 2f out before appearing a non-stayer latest over 1m4f at Thirsk. Convinced revised mark is within range back over 1m2f and highly respected here.

1m½f course win last time out pretty conclusive so a 3lb rise looks pretty lenient. Limited evidence over this trip (0-3) but looks to stay and if she does surely has leading claims to follow up nine days on from last success.

Won a seller over hurdles for Dan Skelton but lost her way in that sphere and made little impression under either code of late for new yard so is hard to recommend here.

Sole win came in a Catterick maiden (7f, good to soft) for David O'Meara in May 2016 and plenty of water has passed under the bridge since then; an unlikely candidate.

0-27 over hurdles and fences and unlikely to be getting better as he enters veteran stage. 100/1 pulled up in Southwell maiden hurdle last time and cannot be fancied.

Verdict

After winning for the first time over C&D two starts back BRUTALAB failed to last 1m4f latest having gone to the front and looking the likely winner; back over 1m2f he can make amends for the prolific Tim Easterby team. Others on the shortlist include recent course winner Rosy Ryan and Cosmic Ray who should come on plenty for his reappearance fourth of 12 at Leicester.
