Mostly struggled since second of two July wins and remains 7lb higher than for the latter with handicapper slow to loosen his grip; others appeal as better treated.

Back on a reasonable handicap mark recently and made that count with game success in 1m Carlisle handicap in late August. Mark remains similar but well behind Kilbaha Lady at Doncaster latest so good bit to find.

Musselburgh winner two starts back finished midfield at Ayr just last week in a 1m handicap off today's mark which is 5lb higher than aforementioned win. More needed to play a significant part.

Early season promise now fading from memory after two pretty poor efforts the last twice. Had a break since finishing last at Pontefract in July but best watched on balance.

Twice a winner at two but basically looked at the mercy of the handicapper in five unplaced starts in 2019. Mark sliding all the time but others are more compelling still.

Three-time winner made the frame in five of his nine races this term without winning. Ran well here two starts back before sub-par Musselburgh run after a slow start but could again play a part with strong pace likely.

Father time may have caught up with the 13-time winner of his 130 starts based on seven consecutive unplaced efforts coming into this.

C&D third penultimately a career-best for this maiden of 12 starts but in deeper waters this time she will do well to replicate the effort.

Verdict

Forecast rain here clouds the picture somewhat with most of the in-form runners performing best on sound surfaces this summer. There aren't such concerns however for KILBAHA LADY who has won on good to soft in the past yet the filly comes here in good form on faster ground meaning she is well set for all eventualities. There are dangers aplenty especially if the rain stays away with all of Baashiq, Cuttin' Edge and Northern Lyte holding ground dependent claims.
