Raven's Pass colt. Showed promise on debut before hanging late on when 5L sixth in 7f Newmarket maiden in July. Likely to come on for that and yard usually does well with these types.
Homebred Frankel colt. Dam was a 7f winner on the track and is a half-brother to multiple winners, including ten time scorer Roatan. Betting should guide.
Narrowly denied over C&D on debut before finishing neck second in 7f Ascot maiden at the start of the month. Should have more to offer and looks the one to beat.
Camacho colt. Ran with credit on debut when 4L sixth in 7f Ascot novice at the start of the month. Should come on for that effort but more needed on that evidence.
Price rose to 200,000 gns as a yearling. By a top sprinter out of an unraced mare who related to winners over 1m. Yard is in flying form so worth a market check.
140,000 gns purchase. Sire was a Group One winner over 1m and is first progeny out of a 5f winning dam. Yard's juveniles tend to come on for their debut and looks the second string on jockey bookings.
Slowly into stride and never a factor when sixth of nine on debut at Kempton (7f) earlier this month. Looks one for handicaps.
Didn't offer much promise on debut when 12L last of five at Sandown (1m, good) in August. Back down in trip but stable also saddles a debutante and probably best watched.
Thrice-raced maiden. Put up an encouraging effort over C&D two starts ago before bombing out in 1m Haydock novice on latest start. Looks to be the type for nurseries.
95,000 gns yearling purchase. Half-brother to multiple winners, including juvenile winners Dazed and Amazed and Quite A Thing. Worth a market check and yard have another newcomer in this.
Homebred. Fulll brother to 7f winner Millions Memories and a half-brother to winners up to 1m6f. Wears a hood on debut but pedigree suggests he is a long-term prospect.
Forecasts
Law Of Peace (8/15), Highest Ground (3/1), Dulas (9/2), Mostaqel (25/1), Macho Boy (33/1), Well Prepared (40/1), Real Poet (40/1), Trumpets Call (50/1), Zambezi Magic (50/1), Tiger Zone (100/1), Son Of Red (100/1)
A contest which could reveal a promising two-year-old, preference is for LAW OF PEACE who has done nothing but improve in two starts and with further progression expected, he looks to have a penalty kick against some newcomers to get off the mark. Mostaqel has a likeable pedigree and is worth a look at, especially as his connections unleashed a similar type to win well on debut last week, while Macho Boy wasn't beaten far on debut and his yard's types usually come on for their debut effort.
- Law Of Peace
- Mostaqel
