Good third over 1m on good-to-firm going at Newmarket on her penultimate start and heavy ground likely to blame for a below par effort at Nottingham last time out. Has won at this distance in the past and is of interest on AW debut.

Held in three starts since returning from a break. Handicap mark is falling as a result and market support would be notable having won two from five on the AW including when winning off a 4lb higher mark at Lingfield (7f) last December.

Returning from a break when finishing 1¾L fourth in a 7f handicap at Brighton (good-to-firm) recently. Has won at this venue in the past but all seven previous victories have come over 6f or shorter.

Disappointed at Chelmsford (1m) in July on first start since being gelded but put in a better effort in first time blinkers (retained) when finishing third from a wide draw over 1m here subsequently. Interesting runner despite a poor draw once more.

Decent efforts in defeat in both starts since joining this yard. Beaten 4½L when fifth over this trip at Ascot (good-to-firm) earlier this month and both previous victories have come on the AW including over this C&D last October.

Drop in trip appeared to suit when winning by a nose over 1m here just over a month ago. Ran well when a neck second in a similar race subsequently and is one for the shortlist off a mark 5lb higher than for his latest success.

Placed twice from four starts most recently when beaten ½L in a 7f contest at Chelmsford when making his handicap debut recently. Raised 2lb for that effort and is of interest with a promising apprentice retaining the ride.

Dual C&D winner earlier this year but struggled on last two starts including when seventh of nine here on return from a break last month. Worth a check in the market off a mark 1lb higher than for his latest success.

Victorious in a novice race over 6f for previous yard 12 months ago and best effort since came when finishing 1½L fourth in a C&D handicap last time out. Races off the same mark here and market support would be notable

Disappointing in the main since winning over 6f at Wolverhampton in February including in two starts since joining this stable. Worth a check in the market off a mark 3lb lower than for that victory.

Verdict

HIGHFALUTING has been in good form here of late and having won and placed over C&D on his two most recent starts he can register a victory in this competitive looking handicap. Jabalaly ran well from a wide draw last time out and he can do similar on this occasion to claim second spot while third place can go the way of top weight Eula Varner who is dropping in grade on her first AW appearance.
