Knocking at the door recently and gained deserved success at Catterick (7f) 12 days ago, not as good at Ayr on Thursday having gone up in the ratings. Better chance on these terms.

Gained first career win at Beverley last month and went close again there off this mark next time. Less promising at Doncaster since and 5lb higher in ratings than when well fended off over C&D (soft) in May.

Not on good terms today and form recently leaves plenty to be desired in any case. Can be opposed.

Forecasts

One To Go (10/3), Creek Island (7/2), Kingson (9/2), My Ukulele (9/2), Woodside Wonder (5/1), Mecca's Gift (5/1), Northern Lyte (7/1), Double Honour (15/2), Darwina (40/1)

Verdict

My Ukulele's fine run of form continued at Ayr on Friday, ensuring John Quinn's filly is arriving here bidding to make it four wins in five lately. She'll have to defy a 6lb penalty to go in again but is greatly respected. Also looking to back up a win is MECCA'S GIFT, a former C&D scorer raised 3lb for last month's Thirsk win. Given she's had more time to get over her exertions, she earns the call. Woodside Wonder should bounce back from a poor run at Ayr last week.
