Off the mark at the 19th time of asking at Laytown earlier this month, leaving the gelding still looking for a breakthrough success in nine Flat starts on turf. Tough ask off top weight.

Popular veteran who is running 12lb higher than his win at Bellewstown two starts ago. Penalty for recent starts look harsh.

Solid and consistent sort on the AW winning on no less than eight occasions but the mare remains a 13-race maiden on turf. Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success.

Most recent win came in claiming company at Dundalk. Well handicapped and will look to find his form from two years ago when winning over C&D. Beaten favourite last time out and has questions to answer for now.

All five career wins have come on turf and has been running well in defeat in a number of starts over the summer. Potentially dangerous mark could well be exploited here.

Not disgraced in a couple of handicap starts at Navan and when last seen in May finishing third of 30 at the Curragh over 6f. May need the run on return to action but not to be taken lightly.

Verdict

The Denis Hogan-trained GOPSIES DAUGHTER deserves a change in fortune and can grab a sixth turf win here in this competitive contest. The eight-year-old can land the spoils ahead of Tie A Yellowribbon, second of 22 at Navan earlier this month, Bellewstown winner, My Good Brother and the consistent Pilar, who are likely to be his nearest pursuers. Any market move for Sayesse who makes his stable debut for Gavin Cromwell should be noted.
