Consistent both on the Flat and over hurdles. Yet to win here, but handles the track. Just looks to be in the grip of the handicapper for win purposes, but an each-way player.
Has twice been placed over C&D on good to firm. Yet to win from a mark this high, and although you can't rule her out of the frame, she needs to find more than we have seen from her to win this.
Attempting to pull off a quickfire hat-trick over C&D here. Went up 10lb for the first of those, and a further 4lb for last week's repeat success, both in inferior company. This will be tougher, but there may still be more to come.
Rattled up a hat-trick in August, including one over C&D, when 3lb lower. Well beaten over 2m last time, but remains of interest back over this trip and from a mark that may still have room for manoeuvre.
Triple course winner (two of them over C&D on good/good to firm). 6lb higher than her latest win here earlier this month. Not ruled out of the money, but her last two efforts suggest she will do well to win this from her current mark.
Won three times in France on good/soft ground, all at 1m4f. Drops 3lb for this after being held over C&D behind Gylo last time. Hard to fancy.
Arrives on the back of a couple of respectable efforts at Doncaster and then here over C&D, when over 4L third behind Flower Power. Now 6lb better off with her, and can't rule out another share of the prize money.
Scored here over 1m6f (good to firm) on his penultimate start, when 4lb lower, having previously made a race of it against Gylo over C&D. Another good effort at Redcar last time, and deserves plenty of respect.
Has won on both fast and soft ground at 1m-1m1f. 3lb higher than the most recent of those, at Carlisle on her penultimate start. However, failed to convince when previously tried over 1m2f, so this may stretch her stamina too far.
Stayed on well to be 1½L fourth behind Gylo over C&D last time, when 33-1 and in a first-time tongue-tie. Now 3lb better off, and on a workable mark, so has to be considered here.
On a nine-race losing run since scoring at Thirsk in June (1m4f, good to soft), when 6lb lower. Has gone close a couple of times since, and has won on fast ground, but best efforts have been when it has not been quite so quick.
Scored over 1m6f at Redcar (good to firm), when 4lb lower, in May. Has some very solid form at this level since then, including when 1L behind Euro Implosion over C&D last month Should be thereabouts again.
Has not shown much to interest us from this mark in some time, and well held behind Gylo over C&D on his last two starts. Others preferred.
Forecasts
Fantastic Ms Fox (4/1), Gylo (5/1), Straitouttacompton (6/1), Euro Implosion (6/1), Bollin Joan (15/2), Tommy Hallinan (9/1), Jan De Heem (12/1), Betty Grable (14/1), Ingleby Hollow (14/1), Mr Sundowner (16/1), Flower Power (25/1), Dew Pond (33/1), Lady Kyria (66/1)
Plenty in with chances of picking up prize money, and preference is just for GYLO, who will probably begin to find this tougher now, but may still have more to come from this mark. Euro Implosion could be a big danger along with Fantastic Ms Fox, while Straitouttacompton, Tommy Hallinan and Ingleby Hollow are others to closely consider.
- Gylo
- Euro Implosion
- Fantastic Ms Fox
