Useful hurdler on his day and the winner of three of his four starts over fences including in a three runner contest over C&D on good ground last time out. Likely to prove hard to beat once more.
Decent horse over hurdles and shown a decent level of ability over fences including when winning over an extended 2m3f at Stratford (good) in April. Below that form in two subsequent starts however but remains of interest.
Returning from a break when finishing third in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m at Stratford (good) earlier this month. Bit to find with a couple of these rivals on hurdles rating on his debut over fences.
Dual point-to-point winner but shown little in four starts over hurdles to date. Well held off a mark of 81 in a novices' handicap hurdle here last time out and looks likely to struggle on chase debut.

CAIUS MARCIUS was the best of these over hurdles and he is taken to continue his good run over fences by notching up a fourth chase victory in this small field novices' contest. Aintree My Dream drops in trip here and he can finish runner-up for a yard with a 50% strike-rate (2/4) of late while Court Royale who is making his first start over fences can claim third.
