Much better on the AW than turf but arguably better over a slightly longer trip than this; last AW win came at this track off a 5lb higher mark so hard to rule out.
Has gone 14 runs since his last victory and over two years since his last win on the AW; on the plus side he now races off a very tempting mark and hard to easily dismiss.
Needs to recapture the form of her second of 21 beaten ¾L in a Leopardstown 1m4f handicap in May. Last couple of races at Naas and Bellewstown have produced a number of winners. Worth a check in the market.
Generally consistent mare who ran one of her better races last time out at Navan (1m2f). Is considered better on the AW and holds every chance coming into the race in good heart.
One-paced filly who has not been in the best of form of late and is easily passed over on her AW debut.
Has struggled off revised mark since scoring well at Bellewstown in July; likely to be same story again unless especially taking to this surface
Sprang a big surprise when winning at Navan earlier this month, running on well to lead on the line; much more needed off revised mark.
Well beaten in all four starts so far including on handicap debut last time out at Navan in July; blinkers applied which may help but stronger cases can be made for most of his rivals.
Nine-race maiden; slightly improved performance last time out at Bellewstown; handicap mark continues to fall but hard to be confident at present.
1-24 career record and not made the frame at all in the last two years so looks a regressive gelding at this point.
Some fair efforts at this track last winter but nothing that would convince many people he is ready to add to two AW wins (last win was in early 2018).
Just one placed effort from nine races on the level tells its own story; latest effort in late August saw him being well beaten at Down Royal; others easily preferred.
Although still a maiden, the gelding has been running some fair races in defeat of late including when 4/15 at Gowran Park on his latest start; better chance than most.
First reserve; only success came here over 1m three years ago; ran some fair races over course and distance last season; worthy of closer inspection should he run.

The consistent LADY ROSEBUD is the selection in quite a difficult race to find the winner. She is reliable enough to be in the mix at the business end of the race and ran one of her better races last time out at Navan. Topweight Schoolboy Error may prefer a slightly longer trip but with doubts about many of his rivals he is capable landing this off what looks a very reasonable mark. Another who can race off a favourable mark is Red Avenger who ran creditably last time out and has been given a little break before tackling this contest.
- Lady Rosebud
- Schoolboy Error
- Red Avenger
